Goddesses and the Basis of Being

By Liam Ballinagar

An ancient religion, the worship of the Goddess of the Most High is a matriarchal religion. Oh, and one other thing, it is also termed ‘sex-positive’. The teachings of the Most High Goddess explain that the path to the divine; or enlightenment, if you will; can be reached through sex. It is through The Rituals of the Goddess, for the open-minded individual who seeks spiritual understanding and knowledge, that the path to understanding is achieved.

Through sex, it is taught that one can understand one’s current and past lives; that through sex, the creative power of the universe is forged; that sex is the conduit for the passage of souls from one world to the other; and that sex is not reserved just for this mortality. In order for one to truly travel along this path, a priestess of The Goddess must guide you to the knowledge and the redemption in this life, and she also leads one on the path to redemption through metempsychosis, (or reincarnation), of the soul. However one travels their path through life, as the Basis of Being teaches, is of no concern, as long as harm comes to know one and all are content on that path.

But, the Basis of Being teaches that one must travel their own path. One may travel beside another, but to be guided along that path, irregardless of what may be at the end, or on waypoints along the way, means that you might go somewhere you didn’t intend. As in any belief system or religion, there are fundamental rules/commandments/guidelines… In the worship of the Goddess of the Most High, many of these Laws have been in existence longer than the Ten Commandments. The Laws of the Goddess are broken down into three types: Transgressions Against Mankind, of which there are 27; Sins (transgressions against The Goddess (God)), of which there are 10; and Personal Transgressions (transgressions against the self), of which there are 5.

The total number is 42 – the Forty-Two Affirmations of Right and Truth. These Laws, are basically, much the same as any belief system; don’t kill, maim, or harm others; don’t lie, cheat, or otherwise be untruthful or dishonest – many of the basics. There are a few others, though, that should be basic in the their principle, if not in their understanding; one of which is ‘I have not broken the channel of running water’, or ‘I have not purloined the cakes of the god’; but one may have to fully immerse themselves in the spiritual guidance of a priestess of The Goddess to understand them.

The Basis of Being ties all belief systems together and seeks to show that all religions/belief systems basically have the same fundamental goals – to live life well, and to not harm anyone or anything along the way. This is a basic life concept, but so many of us forget it along the way. It has been mentioned that the religions of the Goddess of the Most High is ancient; but it’s much deeper than that – the religion was ancient in the 5th century. That’s before, the rise and fall of the major historical Egyptian Dynasties. Prior to the rise of the dynasties,

The Goddess was worshipped all over Egypt, the mid-East, and Europe. For nigh three millennia the religion prospered and grew. But, with the persecution of the new Christian religion that was sweeping the world, all but few of the priestess survived. A century later, the descendants of those priestesses who survived were still being hunted. The religion of The Goddess literally went underground at this point, and was kept secret for 60 generations of priestesses.

And, now, in what the priestesses of The Goddess call the Twilight of Christianity, there has been a reemergence of this religion – a reawakening of the spiritual knowledge of the ancient world. The Basis of Being doesn’t condone the persecution of another religion, whether it’s based in patriarchal or matriarchal concepts. The Basis of Being is both… and neither. One religion does not have all the answers; we must make an effort to tie all religions together if we are to be whole in mind, body, and soul.

The Basis Of Being supports all beliefs that lead to a prosperous and peaceful lifelong pursuit of happiness for not only ourselves, but those around us.
